In 2023, Coco Coalition continued its unwavering dedication to empowering Black women through holistic wellness initiatives. From expanding mental health programs aligned with SAMHSA's 8 dimensions of wellness to providing career development opportunities and fostering safe spaces, our commitment to holistic empowerment remained steadfast. Our presence at the 6th annual Black Joy Parade in Oakland marked a significant return to the community, evoking a sense of homecoming and reaffirming our pledge to uplift and celebrate Black joy. As we reflect on our journey, from collaborative beginnings to impactful growth, Coco Coalition remains resolute in creating a brighter, more empowered future for Black women.
