The Coco Fellows offers a valuable opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in marketing, research, and programming while contributing to meaningful projects within our organization. Fellows will have the chance to apply their academic knowledge to real-world scenarios, develop key skills, and build professional networks. The remote fellowship runs from June 17th- August 30th, 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.

• Conduct research and analysis, and present findings as necessary.

• Attend relevant meetings and training sessions.

• Complete assigned tasks within deadline.

The purpose of Project Kukua is to offer a holistic experience of bidirectional growth for Black women in the early stages of their careers and Black women who have impacted their careers. The mentorship is for individuals seeking a mutually beneficial relationship centered on community, sisterhood, wellness, and holistic growth. The mentorship may be centered around career; however, we like to lift all eight dimensions of wellness at Coco: Occupational, Environmental, Social, Financial, Spiritual, Emotional, Physical, and Intellectual. 

Every year, Coco proudly offers scholarships aimed at empowering and supporting the development of Black college women in three vital fields: Health, Civic Engagement, and the Arts. These scholarships serve as a tribute to the enduring legacy of the co-founders' parents, whose passion and dedication in these areas were truly inspirational. Their tireless efforts to create positive change serve as the foundation upon which Coco's scholarship program is built.
